Frequently asked questions

How do I place an order, and where can I pick it up?

Please note, we require a minimum of 3-5 days advance notice for most orders. This ensures we have sufficient time to create the freshest and most delicious treats for you.

To place an order, please send us a message through our contact page, or email SimpleNibblesBaking@gmail.com. You can also call/text us at 347-255-5551.

Once you place an order, you’ll receive instructions on how to make a deposit payment via Venmo or Zelle along with a pickup date, time and location.

Is a deposit required to confirm my order?

Yes, a 25% deposit is required to secure and confirm your order. Our goods are all made fresh to order and the deposit amount we collect is used to secure resources and ingredients. The remaining balance is due upon pickup and can be paid in cash or via Venmo or Zelle.

Do you deliver?

We currently do not have a storefront or offer delivery services. For now, all our delicious baked goods are available for convenient pickup at our designated location in Culver City.

However, please keep an eye out on our social media for our participation in local markets and pop-up events! We love connecting with our community, and these events provide an excellent opportunity for you to grab our freshly baked treats on the go.

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?

Deposit amounts for standard orders cancelled less than 24-hours will not be refundable but may be eligible for credit that can be used at a later date.

Can you modify based on diet preferences or allergens?

At this time we are unable to accommodate dietary requests. We’re hoping to introduce gluten free, vegan and sugar free options very soon! This being said, our goods have the potential to be exposed to allergens including eggs, soy, wheat, peanuts and milk. If you are highly allergic to certain things, please let us know right away so that we can take extra measures and precautions to prevent any cross contamination.

Will you be adding other typical Puerto Rican treats, like Quesitos or Tembleque to the menu in the future?

Our current food permit only allows us to serve goods to humans that don’t contain cream or custard, and we must adhere to a specific list of approved ingredients. We are planning to apply for additional licenses that will enable us to expand our offerings in the near future. This way, we hope to provide a wider array of traditional Puerto Rican treats for everyone to enjoy.

How do I store and best enjoy your baked goods?

To properly store cupcakes and other treats in the fridge for 2-3 days, follow these steps:

  1. Use Airtight Containers: Place the cupcakes and treats in airtight containers to keep them fresh and prevent them from absorbing odors from other foods.
  2. Separate Layers: If you need to stack them, use parchment paper or wax paper between layers to prevent sticking and preserve the frosting or toppings.
  3. Maintain Moisture: For frosted cupcakes, you can place them in a single layer in a container and cover them loosely with plastic wrap before sealing the container. This helps maintain their moisture.
  4. Dog cakes and treats: These can also last in the fridge for up to 2-3 days. After which, you can use an airtight freezer bag and freeze them for up to 6 months.
